In February 2014, the Foundation provided a $225,000 loan to the Newnan DDA to assist in financing the acquisition and renovation of two adjoining buildings located at 11 & 13 Jefferson Street in downtown Newnan. The Georgia Department of Community Affairs also provided a $225,000 loan for this project. The completed project now houses a restaurant, Meat-N-Greet. The total project cost is $700,000.
