On August 13, 2019, the Foundation provided a $250,000 loan to the Downtown Development Authority of Avondale Estates to assist in constructing an infill building located at 2866 Washington Street and 165 Pine Street in downtown Avondale Estates. The Authority provided a simultaneous loan to Brewkraft L.L.C., the project's developer. The completed project houses a craft brewery, The Lost Druid. Fifth Third Bank and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs also provided financing for the project.
