Rome, 217 Broad Street

In January 2017, GCF provided a $176,000 loan to the Downtown Development Authority of the City of Rome for the rehabilitation of a commercial building located at 217 Broad Street in downtown Rome. The Authority provided a simultaneous loan to Rome Historic Holdings, LLC, the project's developer. The completed project houses leasable commercial space on the first floor and seven residential apartments on the upper floors. Other project financing was provided by Heritage First Bank and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
