Kenneth George Clark from the city of Hawkinsville is the 2024 Renaissance Award recipient. Over the years, Commissioner Clark and others on the Hawkinsville's City Commission tried multiple times to attract developers to reinvest in the downtown area, but time and time again their efforts ended with no success. Commissioner Clark had  such a commitment to seeing downtown Hawkinsville become a thriving downtown center that he decided to invest his own money in revitalizing several buildings into successful businesses for downtown Hawkinsville.
