Rome, Hampton Inn

In January 2017, GCF provided a $250,000 RLF loan to the Downtown Development Authority of the City of Rome for the construction of an infill project at 875 W. First Street in downtown Rome. The Authority provided a simultaneous loan to Shriji Hospitality Rome, LLC, the project's developer. The completed project houses a Hampton Inn & Suites hotel, featuring 90 guest rooms and suites. Citizens First Bank was the project's senior lender. Other project financing was provided by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
