In September 2015, GCF provided a $250,000 loan to the Augusta DDA to partially finance the renovation of a commercial building located at 1033-1041 Broad Street in downtown Augusta. The DDA provided a simultaneous loan to 1033 Broad Street, LLC, the project’s developer. The completed project houses a restaurant, Sole Augusta, on the first floor, keeping intact ten residential apartments on the second and third floors. The total project cost is $1,399,370.
