Rome, 215 Broad Street

In January 2017, GCF provided a $250,000 loan to the Downtown Development Authority of the City of Rome for the rehabilitation of a commercial building located at 215 Broad Street in downtown Rome. The Authority provided a simultaneous loan to Rome Preservation, LLC, the project's developer. The completed project houses five leasable commercial spaces and eight residential apartments. Other project financing was provided by Heritage First Bank and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
